And since there are so many, it is hard to find one that will not look strange on your paper.What I do is choose a smaller font for college papers and then use the larger font in certain parts of the document. For example, in a faculty handbook I would use the larger font in the part of the handbook about the staff and in the faculty letterhead. And I would use the smaller font in the faculty curriculum for each class.You can also use a sans serif font in your college papers if you want. I personally use Times New Roman in all my school paper handouts. It makes the text stand out, but it also makes the handout look more professional. And even though I have used many different fonts, I still go back to Times New Roman because it is such a universally readable font.The same goes for posters or flyers you are using fo r distribution around campus. Since you are using a small font for the brochure or flyer, you can easily change it up by using different fonts and different sizes.And here is a tip that works well with paper that I use for making my own handouts. My cheap desk paper I get at the dollar store has a nice big printable font. And when I make my handouts out of that paper, I often put it on a wall or just use it as a decorative piece. I get many people to try the handouts out and they really like them.And while it doesn't take too much effort to make the font bigger, it will help if you can change the paper that you are printingon. If you are using a white paper, you can get a black paper liner and put that in the printer before you use the paper. Then when you use the paper, it will look just like the paper that you already have.Or, you can always get extra pages of paper and go to your local office supply store and buy a bigger font size. That way you can change it up a little bit and not have to have it printed on some new paper.But you don't need to worry too much about the font that you use. The type of font that you use is only one element that you are going to need to consider. So choose a font that is easy to read and have fun trying to create the perfect look for your papers.
